The sound of rain is perhaps one of the most soothing sounds on the planet and is fantastic for sleep and tingles. But, if you’ve ever had an ASMR video end just as you were drifting off to sleep, you understand the frustration. This video offers a full ten hours (a good night’s sleep!) of sounds that slowly decrease as the video plays.

First open your ~/Library/Sounds folder. The easiest way to do this is to select the "Go" menu in Finder, hold the "Option" key until "Library" appears. then click it. From there, open the Sounds folder. To use custom sound effects, they have to be in AIFF format. If they're not in AIFF, then they'll need to be converted first.

PLEASE add option to turn off RAIN DROPS sound. as title says and I add that it is ANNOYING SOUND I NEED TO HEAR to play game with sounds, since "ambient sounds" do not affect raining stupid weird clicking like sound to get muted :/. To toggle them on or off if already on. If you install TooManyItems it has a rain button at the top left side of the GUI screen that toggles rain on or off. Edit: Unfortunately both methods "turn off the weather" as in the murky sky/gloom also.
